Put a start page on your iPhone Home Screen

Safari on iPhone doesn’t have a homepage setting. The closest thing is adding the page to your Home Screen, where it gets its own icon.

  1. Open the page in Safari.
  2. Tap Share. If you don’t see it, tap ⋯ first.
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen. If you see Open as Web App, leave it on.
  4. Tap Add.

Pages built as web apps, like Daft Deck, open full screen without Safari’s address bar and keep working offline. Other pages open in Safari, like a bookmark.

Keep it where you’ll see it

Press and hold the new icon to move it to your first Home Screen or into the Dock at the bottom.

On iPad

The steps are the same. The Share button is at the top of the screen, next to the address bar.
